All parents and students are requested to note that enrolments to Ballet Classique classes, as well as attendance of workshops or any activities and productions organized by the academy, are subject to the terms and conditions below. Ballet Classique may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Registration, fees and refunds

• A one-time non-refundable registration fee is payable for students joining us for the first time.
• A refundable deposit is payable on registration for a class for students. (For refund of deposit, please refer to “Withdrawal”.
• New students may still register for classes which have already commenced. Fees payable will be pro-rated.
• All payments made are non-transferrable and non-refundable (except for the deposit, subject to terms and conditions); students must complete their registration and pay all fees in full before they start attending classes; there will be no refunds for any missed classes under any circumstances.
• No refund of fees will be made for withdrawal before the term is over and the remaining lessons will be forfeited.
• No refunds will be given for missed classes.
• No pro-rating of fees except for students joining Ballet Classique for the first time during the middle of a term. Students are required to arrange make up lessons by contacting our receptions. Please refer to make up policy part.
• Ballet Classique reserves the right to change or cancel scheduled classes.
• Ballet Classique reserves the right to change instructor of a class when necessary; in the event an instructor is changed and class goes on, no refund will be given.
• If a class is cancelled due to the sickness of the teacher, a health epidemic or any other seen or unforeseen event, the Academy will endeavour to reschedule the class. This may be on a different day or a different time or both from when the class was originally scheduled and might involve an extension to the term time dates. No refunds will be given in this case. In the case we are not able to arrange an reschedule of the class, a refund will be given back to the students.
• For private classes, a 24 hours’ notice must be given to cancel a class with no fee to be charged. If a less than 24 hours’ notice is given, the private lesson fee will be charged.

Make-up policy

• Make-up classes are only allowed during the first month of each subsequent term according to the schedule set by the Academy, with the exception of classes missed in Term 3. For classes missed in Term 3, the make-up period will be the whole of Term 4.
• Only students who have paid for the following term fee in full are allowed to enjoy the makeup lessons.
• Make-up lessons are by appointment only (upon making full payment of the fees for the following term, students will make their appointments for their make-up lessons for the scheduled weeks).
• No changes are allowed after make-up lesson appointments are made and lessons will be forfeited if students do not turn up.
• No advanced make-up lessons will be allowed.
• The choices of make up may include but not limit to: Same class level or 1 level lower (or higher, subject to teacher approval)
• Ballet Classique will endeavour to arrange the make-up classes according to all suitable lessons that are offered by the academy.

Class Etiquettes

• Students are to attend classes in the prescribed Academy uniform and adhere to the Academy’s requirements on grooming and attire. Hair must be neatly in a bun for all classes.
• Punctuality: Be punctual for class; no extension / rescheduling for late-comers.
• No food or drink (except for water) is allowed in the studios; please keep the studio clean at all times.
• No mobile phones or other electronic devices are allowed in the studios during classes.
• Students are expected to be attentive during classes; Ballet Classique reserves the right to remove anyone who is disruptive or abusive to our staff, teaching faculty and/or classmates during classes with immediate effects.
• Parents or caretakes for young students must be on time to pick up your child immediately upon class dismissal; Ballet Classique’s responsibility for minor students begins only when the child is delivered to the classroom when a teacher is present in the room till the dismissal of the class.

Class Transfer

• Class transfers are only allowed when the written request to switch classes is submitted within the first 14 days of each term according to the schedule.
• Each student is only allowed 1 class transfer every 6 months.

Withdrawal

• No refund of fees will be made for withdrawal from the Academy.
• Students who wish to withdraw from the Academy are required to submit a written notice at least 1 month in advance before the end of the term, failing which the refundable deposit will be forfeited.
• Deposits are strictly not to be used to offset fees.

Trial Lesson

• Trial lesson fees are non-refundable.
• Trial students are required to arrive at least 15 minutes for registration before class commences. The Academy reserves the right to refuse late-comers’ entry into the class.
• Each student is allowed 1 trial class; registration fee is payable if the student wishes to attend a 2nd trial class.
• All trial lessons have to be booked in advance.
• Bookings for trial lessons are confirmed only upon payment.
• Re-scheduling of trial lessons is not allowed once bookings are confirmed with payment
• Each class has a maximum number of students; no trial students will be accepted if the class is full.

Accident Waiver and Release of Liability

• Ballet Classique will not be held responsible for injury caused and without limiting the generality of the foregoing damage or injury resulting from or caused by any negligence of instructors or other employees. The parent and student agree that Ballet Classique, and their directors, teachers, employees, volunteers, or any persons authorised by the Academy shall not be liable or responsible for any and all liability, including, but not limited to, any accident or personal injury sustained or suffered by themselves during any activity withing the Academy premises.
• Ballet Classique will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained within the Academy premises during non-lesson time.
• Ballet Classique is not held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses in connection with any action or claim brought or made arising during any courses or activities organized by the academy neither within the premise of the academy.
• Enrolment constitutes granting the instructors of Ballet Classique permission to provide physical adjustments to students, including but not limited to hands-on corrections to posture and alignment during lessons. These adjustments are intended to improve students’ dance technique and prevent injuries.

Others

• Parents and students shall provide Ballet Classique with their contact details as requested at the point of registration and ensure that such are true information in order for the Academy to keep all parents and students up to date on information and events happening at the Academy.
• All students and parents are deemed to agree to receive short message service (SMS/Whatsapp) and emails from Ballet Classique for such information and event updates.
• Ballet Classique reserves all rights over photographs and videos taken during our classes and performances. These materials may be used for our advertisements and publications. Please advise if your child/you is not to be included in any photos/videos. No usage of any form such as copying or reproduction of any materials are allowed without our prior written consent.
• Enrolment constitutes acceptance of all the Terms & Conditions. Ballet Classique reserves all rights to update our Terms & Conditions, fees and class schedules without prior notice.
• The Academy reserves the right to terminate or reject any student’s enrolment if they fail to comply with any of the above Terms & Conditions.
